《Topic》

◾Friendship between UAE and Korea

*The topic has been chosen to mark the 40th anniversary of the two countries' diplomatic relations this year.

*Examples of detailed topic : <History of Korea-UAE exchanges>, <My experience in contributing to cultural exchanges between the two countries>, <My role for the future in the bilateral relations>, <Similarities and differences between the two countries> etc.

《Eligibility》

◾UAE Nationality Only

*It is not allowed for those who have a previous career of the 1st Place in same competitions hosted by Korean Embassy. But, those who have the 2nd or 3rd place experience are allowed to attend the contest again.

《Prizes》

◾1st : Round trip ticket to Korea

◾2nd : Brand new Smart phone

◾3rd : Brand new Tablet PC

*A gift and a certificate will be provided for all the finalists.

*Prizes may be subject to change without any notice.

《Application》 - Preliminary Round

◾Application Deadline : 28th October (Wed), 2020 (11:59PM, The local time in the UAE)

◾How To Apply : Send all the requirements to koreancontest@gmail.com

*The e-mail title should be as follows ☞ Applicant_[Name]_[Mobile number]

◾Requirements

- Application Form (Attached)

- Copy of Valid Passport or Emirates ID

- Voice Record File in Korean (Less than 2 minutes long / MP3 format only)

*The Record file must include all of the following contents : Self-Introduction, Reason for Participation, Brief introduction of your topic

《Result Announcement》

◾1st November (Sun), 2020

*Results of the preliminary round and further directions for the final round will be notified by email.

《Note》 - Final Round

◾The length of the final speech should be within 7 minutes.

◾Participants are asked to create their own title for a speech. The topic cannot be used as a title.

◾Visual materials(PowerPoint, Pictures etc) can be used during your speech. But, the materials cannot contain scripts.

◾Any form of cheating means automatic disqualification.
