Join us this month for a cinematic journey with Creative Film Nights, in collaboration with the Creative Lab & Arab Film Studio, and experience the richness of Korean short films alongside the short documentaries by graduates of the Arab Film Studio programs.
Be part of a unique movie night featuring short documentaries and films:
1. The Korean short film “Cheong (청이)” by director IM Jung-in
About the film: Having fun with friends was so enjoyable, Hong pretended not to see her blind father. Children grow when they are able to see things that they couldn’t see before.
2. The documentary “Luminary” by director Nada Jahed (Arab Film Studio alumni)
About the film: A poetic portrait of a blind father with a bright perspective on life, who is strongly determined to deliver his message to the world.
3. The documentary “Made of Clay” by director Fayssal Bin Sahli (Arab Film Studio alumni)
About the film: Made of Clay is the story of Ahmed, a passionate young stop-motion artist. Ahmed wants to pursue his dream, but finds it difficult to do so because of his father’s views on his art. In an attempt to gain his father’s acceptance, Ahmed unravels the truth behind his dissatisfaction. What Ahmed could not have foreseen is that in uncovering his father’s past, he learns something about his own future.
4. The documentary “M1-K0” by director Fahad Shaikh (Arab Film Studio alumni)
About the film: A film about journey to find a deeper meaning of the unknown, “M1-K0” follows Mikolaj Zenliski, a Polish software engineer on his bicycle training in the middle of the desert, who could be blasting off to the Red Planet after getting through to the next stage of the Mars One project.
