The Korean Cultural Center Library is open to all and is equipped with about 5,000 books in Korean, English and Arabic, and also more than 600 visual and auditory materials.



1. Opening Hours & Holidays

Monday - Thursday from 10 AM to 6 PM, Friday from 10 AM to 2 PM, Sunday from 10 AM to 7PM (Opening hours is changed from 15 April, 2024)

Closes on UAE & Korean Holidays that include 1st March, 1st May, 15th August, 3rd & 9th October

2. General Information

- The library is open to the general public.

- Eating, smoking and using cellular phones are not allowed in the library.
- Books taken from the shelf should be left on the return trolley. Please do not re-shelve them.

To borrow materials from the library, patrons must register by filling out an application form with an ID and a passport sized photo.

- Reissuing of lost membership card will cost 10 AED.

- Children under 14 must be accompanied by a parent.

- Anyone who intentionally damages or steals library property will be banned from entering the library.

3. Borrowing Rule

- Borrowers must hold a library membership card.

- Membership accounts & cards are non-transferable.
- Membership accounts & cards are non-transferable.

- Borrowers must give notice over the telephone or by visiting in person in advance to extend the loan period up to 1 week.

- You will not be able to borrow any books for the number of days your previous loan was overdue, and during this time your account will be regarded as suspended.

- If a checked-out item is not returned by one month after the grace period, the membership will be cancelled and those responsible will be unable to register again for a year.

- 100 AED applies for losing or damaging each book - otherwise it is returned with the same book.

- Newspaper, magazines, pictorials, DVDs and some other selected items can be used in the library only.

4. Use of Media Materials

- Media materials can be used in the library after requesting them from the librarian, and you must return the materials after use.
- Library’s media materials cannot be copied illegally.
