Available Instruments

• ●Strings: Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass

• ●Woodwinds: Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon (including Piccolo, Eb Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Contrabassoon)

• ●Brass: Horn, Trumpet, Trombone, Tuba

• ●Timpani and Percussion

Eligibility: Open to music major students aged 17 to 29 years old.

Application Period: May 1st (Wed) - May 31st (Fri), 2024

• 1.Upload your performance video on your personal YouTube account (Visibility: Partially disclosed)

• ●Video should include an introduction, a free repertoire piece, and orchestral excerpts.

• 2.E-mail submission with required documents: Application and performance video link

Important: Do not delete your YouTube video until June 30th.

<About the Event>

Project Structure: Includes Orchestral section, Instrumental part section, and a Concert.

Concert Dates:

• ●August 8th (Thu), 2024, at Daegu Concert House, Grand Hall

• ●August 10th (Sat), 2024, at Tongyeong Concert Hall

Rehearsal Dates: August 2nd (Fri) - August 10th (Sat), 2024

Venue: Daegu Concert House, South Korea

Program:

• ●J. Brahms - Piano Concerto No.2 in B♭ Major, Op.83

• ●S. Prokofiev - Symphony No.5 in B♭ Major, Op.100

Costs: Participation is free, and accommodation is provided for all foreign participants.

Cast: Featuring Domingo Hindoyan as Conductor, Minsoo Sohn as Pianist, and the talented Solasian Youth Orchestra.

Faculty includes esteemed musicians from renowned orchestras worldwide.
