K-Lover's Night

It is a poster for K-Lover’s Night. The event will be held on August 30 at 6 PM at the Korean Cultural Center.



The Korean Cultural Center in the UAE is hosting the "K-Lover’s Night" event to strengthen interaction with K-Culture Clubs in the UAE and to foster collaboration. We look forward to the active participation of all K-Culture Club members!

∙ Oh Hyunji (Known as ‘Yageum Yageum’)


Hyunji Oh majored in Gayageum at Dankook University and is currently a rising Gayageum artist in Korea.

Not only does she perform traditional Korean music, but she also releases covers of various pop and K-Pop songs, actively engaging with audiences online. 

With 690,000 followers on TikTok and 310,000 followers on YouTube, nearly 1 million people follow her activities.

In particular, her Gayageum performance video for the “Untouchable Challenge” gained 23 million views, earning her global recognition as an artist. (Link: https://vt.tiktok.com/ZS2Le2Ajq/)

In this performance, she will play the national anthem of the UAE, followed by various K-Pop cover songs and "Arabian Nights" from the movie Aladdin.

 Cho Da Hee

Cho Da Hee is a traditional Korean dancer. She graduated from the Korea National University of Arts and she is a designated apprentice of the Jongmyo Jerye Ilmu, a National Intangible Cultural Heritage.

She has received numerous awards in competitions, such as the National New Dancer Competition, the National Gugak Center’s Onnara Traditional Dance Competition, and the Seoul International Dance Competition. 

After graduating from university, she has continued her artistic journey.

In this performance, she will present traditional Korean dances, including Salpuri and Sogo Dance.
