I. Course List

Materials fee - 200 AED

◾ Sejong Korean 1(1A) - Textbook: Sejong Korean 1A / Anyone aged 14 years or over learning Korean for the first time

* Study of speaking, listening, writing, and reading about Hangul, self-introduction, and daily life.

◾ Sejong Korean 2(1B) - Textbook: Sejong Korean 1B / Those who completed Sejong Korean 1 (Submit certificate of completion) or got online level test 1A or higher

* Basic Korean at the level of Sejong Korean level 2.

◾ Sejong Korean 3(2A) - Textbook: Sejong Korean 2A / Those who completed Sejong Korean 2 or higher (Submit certificate of completion) or got online level test 1B or higher

* Learning expressions that can be used in daily life such as leisure activities, daily routines, home, places, items, and lifestyle habits.

◾ Sejong Korean 4(2B) - Textbook: Sejong Korean 2B / Those who completed Sejong Korean 3 or higher (Submit certificate of completion) or got online level test 2A or higher

* Everyday Korean at the level of Sejong Korean level 4.

◾ Sejong Korean 5(3A) - Textbook: Sejong Korean 3A / Those who completed Sejong Korean 4 or higher (Submit certificate of completion) or got online level test 2B or higher

* Everyday Korean at the level of Sejong Korean level 5.

◾ Sejong Conversation 1 - Textbook: Practical Korean 1 (Unit. 1~14) / Learners at the beginner level of Korean

* Learning expressions for self-introduction and daily life necessary for beginners in Korean.

◾ Sejong Conversation 2 - Textbook: Sejong Institute Korean 2 (Unit. 1~10) / Those who completed Sejong 2 or higher (Submit certificate of completion) or got online level test 1B or higher

* Practical Korean speaking at the level of Sejong Korean 2A(3).

◾ Sejong Conversation 2-1 - Textbook: Practical Korean 2 (Unit. 1~7) / Those who completed Sejong 2 or higher (Submit certificate of completion) or got online level test 1B or higher

* Practical Korean learning focused on listening and speaking everyday conversations at the level of Sejong Korean 3.

◾ Sejong Conversation 2-2 - Textbook: Practical Korean 2 (Unit. 8~14) / Those who completed Sejong 3 or higher (Submit certificate of completion) or got online level test 2A or higher

* Practical Korean learning focused on listening and speaking everyday conversations at the level of Sejong Korean 4.

◾ Sejong Conversation 3-1 - Textbook: Practical Korean 3 (Unit. 1~7) / Those who completed Sejong 4 or higher (Submit certificate of completion) or got online level test 2B or higher

* Practice of expressions frequently used by intermediate level learners in real-life situations.

◾ Sejong Conversation 3-2 - Textbook: Practical Korean 3 (Unit. 8~14) / Those who completed Sejong 5 or higher (Submit certificate of completion) or got online level test 3A or higher

* Practice of expressions frequently used by intermediate level learners in real-life situations.

◾ Sejong Conversation 4 - Textbook: Sejong Converstion 4 (Unit. 1~7) / Those who completed Sejong 6 or higher (Submit certificate of completion) or got online level test 3B or higher

Ⅱ. Enrollment

◾ Visit the KCC to pay the material fee and collect textbooks according to the instructions after receiving the confirmation email.

* On the first day of class, pay the material fee and collect textbooks at the library (If you do not collect the textbook in the first week of the semester, your registration will be automatically canceled).

Ⅲ. Application

◾ Enrollment Period: February 20, 2024 (Tue) ~ February 28, 2024 (Wed)

* The application may close early depending on the number of applicants, and the results will be notified by email on February 29, 2024 (Thu).

◾ Material Fee Payment Period: March 4, 2024 (Mon) ~ March 7, 2024 (Thu) / 11:00 AM ~ 6:00 PM (Library)

◾ Course Period: March 4, 2024 (Mon) ~ June 30, 2024 (Sun) / Total of 15 weeks (excluding Eid-al-Fitr, Eid-al-Adha 2 weeks)

* The end date of course may vary depending on the holidays in the country and the cultural center's closure schedule.
