Recruitment Notice for a Temporary Position: UAE Business Matching Agent

Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) UAE Business Center is pleased to announce an open recruitment for an experienced professional to serve as a temporary Business Matching Agent. We welcome the interest and applications of qualified individuals.

1. Overview

   • Responsibilities

     - Identify and engage buyers in the MENA region across sectors such as broadcasting, animation, games, characters, music, fashion, and content startups, and support business matching with Korean content companies.

     - Encourage MENA-region buyers to register on the WELCON Marketplace and provide consulting services to facilitate Korean content exports. 

     - The assignment will continue through December 2025 and requires regular in-office attendance (three to four times per week), along with support for the ongoing operations of the KOCCA UAE Business Center.

     - Assist with pre-event business matching for KOCCA UAE Business Center -led programs and exhibitions, and provide on-site interpretation (Arabic–English) and business matching support during events.

     - Plan and execute a special event, organizing one showcase or roundtable session with invited participation from MENA-region buyers and Korean companies.

   • Number of Positions: 1 (Fluent in Arabic and English)

   • Contract Period: May 2025 – December 2025 (Approx. 7 months)

   • Compensation and Working Hours: Negotiable (at least three in-office days per week)

2. Employment Type

   • The contract is a temporary position lasting approximately 7 months. 

   • The selected agent will sign a separate service contract through a designated Korean implementation agency, which is entrusted by KOCCA.

3. Eligibility

   • Proven experience in facilitating business matching between MENA buyers and Korean content companies

   • Must hold a valid UAE residency visa and currently reside in the UAE with no legal restrictions on employment, overseas travel, or visa issuance 

   • Must be free from any restrictions as a sole proprietor or concurrent employment 

   • Must be available to start immediately upon selection

4. Application & Selection Process

   • Application Period: Tuesday, April 22 – Monday, April 28, 2025, 1:00 PM (local time)

   • Selection Procedure

     – Document Evaluation: Applications will be carefully reviewed based on qualifications and experience. Only those who pass the evaluation will be individually notified. 

     – Interview: Conducted only for shortlisted candidates. 

       * The interview will include a discussion on working conditions. If no agreement is reached with the top candidate, the next-highest-ranked candidate will be considered.

   • Interview Date: Scheduled for April 30 (Wed), 2025 (Time and location will be individually notified)
