◾Location : Library in the KCC (P2, Entrance 13, Yas Creative Hub)

◾A challenging time you've faced and how you overcame it

[Eligibility]

◾UAE Nationality Only

◾ The previous winners of first place in this same speech contest are not allowed to participate.

* However, 2nd and 3rd place winners can participate.

* KCC UAE King Sejong Institute Korean Speaking Contest winners can participate in this contest (except 2023 winner of the first place).

[Prizes]

◾1st : Round Trip Ticket to Korea (Economy Class/ Dubai↔Incheon)

◾2nd : Brand New Smart phone

◾3rd : luxury cosmetic set

* Gift and certificate will be awarded to all paricipants.

* Prizes are subject to change without prior notice and may be substituted with a prize of equivalent value.

[Application] - Preliminary Round

◾Application Deadline : 19th October (Thu), 2023 (11:59PM, UAE time) deadline extended

◾How To Apply : Send all required documents to korean.kccuae@gmail.com

* The e-mail title should be as follows ☞ Applicant_[Name]_[Mobile number]

◾Required documents

- Application Form (Attached)

- Copy of Valid Passport or Emirates ID

- Voice Record File in Korean (Less than 1 minutes / MP3 format only)

* The Record file must include all of the following contents : Self-Introduction, Reason for Participation, Brief introduction of your topic

[Announcement of the result for Preliminary Round]

◾24th October (Tue) 2023

* Results of the preliminary round and further directions for the final round will be informed by email.

[Note] - Final Round

◾The length of the final speech must be kept within 5 minutes.

◾Participants must create their own title for the speech. The title should differ from the topic of the contest.

◾Any form of cheating will lead to automatic disqualification.

◾Visual materials (PowerPoint, Pictures etc) can not be used during your speech.
