The Korean Cultural Center in the UAE is pleased to present the final program of SAC ON SCREEN: Family and Youth Series with The Great Graffiti Exhibition and a special Hangeul Street Art Wall Workshop.

The Great Graffiti Exhibition introduces graffiti and street art as forms of free visual expression and contemporary art. For this final event, the main focus will be a hands-on cultural workshop where participants can experience Korean language and visual culture through creative street-art-inspired design.

During the workshop, exhibition stands will be transformed into a large collaborative Hangeul Street Art Wall using foam boards and traditional Korean paper, hanji. Participants will choose Korean words such as “friendship,” “love,” “dream,” “peace,” “Korea,” “culture,” and “art,” and reinterpret them in a bold street-art style using the visual beauty of Hangeul, the Korean writing system.

This workshop also connects Korean tradition with contemporary art by using hanji as an artistic surface and reimagining the traditional Korean folding screen, byeongpung, as a modern graffiti wall.

We invite families, youth, and Korean culture lovers to join us for a creative evening celebrating Korean language, tradition, and contemporary visual expression.
