The Korean Cultural Center UAE is thrilled to host the ‘2024 KCC King Sejong Institute Korean Speaking Contest', a unique opportunity for you to immerse yourself in Korea's rich culture and language.

⑴ Topic

∎ "A Special Korean Culture I Experienced"  

⑵ Eligibility

■ Applicants whose parents do not speak Korean as their first language

*No one under the age of 18 years old is allowed to apply (An ID card must be submitted.).

⑶ Prizes

∎ 1st Place: An opportunity to visit Korea for an excellent learner training program and a Sejong Institute course voucher (worth 200 AED)

∎ 2nd Place: A Sejong Institute course voucher (worth 200 AED)

∎ 3rd Place: A Sejong Institute course voucher (worth 200 AED)

* A certificate will be provided for all the finalists.

* Prizes are subject to change without any notice.

∎ Period: June 7, 2024 (Friday) to July 3, 2024 (Wednesday)

⑸︎ Competition Date (Preliminary Round)

∎ Competition : July 10, 2024 (Wed) at 18:00. (All participants are requested to arrive by 17:40.)

1. Certificate of KCC UAE King Sejong Institute (Copy) or evidence of enrollment

2. Copy of Your Emirates ID

3. Final Script in Korean (3~4 minutes, no more than 4 minutes/script form attached)

4. Voice Record File in Korean (No more than 2 minutes/ MP3 format only)

* The Voice Record file must include all of the following:

-A Self-Introduction

-Your Reason for Participation

-A Brief Introduction of Your Chosen Topic

⑸ Announcement of Finalists

∎ The results of the preliminary round will be sent by email.

- Further directions for a final round will be sent to finalists of each contest by email.
