I. Course List

Materials fee - 200 AED (Free for who is having the textbook)

◾ Sejong Korean 1A

- Textbook: Sejong Korean 1A / Beginners in Korean

* Learning Hangul and basic Korean.

◾ Sejong Korean 1B

- Textbook: Sejong Korean 1B / For students who have completed Sejong Korean 1A (certificate required) or passed the Sejong Institute online level test (Level 1B or higher)

◾ Sejong Korean 2A

- Textbook: Sejong Korean 2A / For students who have completed Sejong Korean 1B (certificate required) or passed the Sejong Institute online level test (Level 2A or higher)

◾ Sejong Korean 2B

- Textbook: Sejong Korean 2B / For students who have completed Sejong Korean 2A (certificate required) or passed the Sejong Institute online level test (Level 2B or higher)

◾ Sejong Korean 3A

- Textbook: Sejong Korean 3A / For students who have completed Sejong Korean 2B (certificate required) or passed the Sejong Institute online level test (Level 3A or higher)

◾ Sejong Conversation 1B

- Textbook: Practical Korean 1 (Unit. 8~14) / Learners above the beginner level

* Basic conversation practice for beginners and novices in Korean.

◾ Sejong Conversation 2B

- Textbook: Practical Korean 2 (Unit. 8~14) / Completion of Sejong Korean 1B (certificate required) or online level test 1B and above

* Learning practical Korean at the beginner 1B level.

◾ Sejong Conversation 3A

- Textbook: Practical Korean 3 (Unit. 1~7) / Completion of Sejong Korean 2A (certificate required) or online level test 1B and above

* Practical Korean focusing on listening and speaking in everyday conversations.

◾ Sejong Conversation 3B

- Textbook: Practical Korean 2 (Unit. 8~14) / Completion of Sejong Korean 3A (certificate required) or online level test 3A and above

* Practical Korean focusing on listening and speaking in everyday conversations.

◾ Sejong Conversation 4B (Continuing class from Summer semester)

- Textbook: Practical Korean 4 (Unit. 8~14) / Completion of Sejong Korean 3B (certificate required) or online level test 3B and above

* Improving both accuracy and fluency in Korean through language knowledge and practical communication activities.

Ⅱ. Enrollment

◾ Visit the KCC to pay the material fee and collect textbooks according to the instructions after receiving the confirmation email.

* On the first day of class, pay the material fee and collect textbooks at the library (If you do not collect the textbook in the first week of the semester, your registration will be automatically canceled).

Ⅲ. Application

◾ Enrollment Period: Aug 12 (Mon) - Aug 23 (Fri), 2024

* Early closure is possible depending on the number of applicants. Results will be notified via email after 1 PM on Aug 23 (Fri), 2024.

◾ Payment Period: Aug 26 (Mon) - Aug 29 (Thu) / 11am to 5pm (at the library)

◾ Course Period: Aug 26, 2024 (Mon) - Dec 8, 2024 (Sun) / Total of 15 weeks

* The end date of the course may vary depending on the holidays in the country and the cultural center's closure schedule.

◾ Lecture time (weekdays)

◾ Venue : Classroom in Korean Cultural Center, Abu Dhabi (Yas Creative Hub)

◾ 14 years of age and above (Non Korean)

◾ A certificate for all the courses will be issued when certain conditions are met.

◾ A full refund is only possible within the first week of any class. You will not be eligible for any refund a week afterward. (The textbook should be returned)

◾ Switching a class after the application period is strictly prohibited.

◾ Low enrollment(less than five) or any urgent issue may cause the cancellation of a course.
