The Korean Cultural Center UAE is thrilled to host the ‘2026 KCC King Sejong Institute Korean Speaking Contest', a unique opportunity for you to immerse yourself in Korea's rich culture and language.

⑵ Eligibility

■ Must be a graduate (having completed at least two courses) or a current student of the King Sejong Institute

■ Parents must not be native Korean speakers .

*No one under the age of 18 years old is allowed to apply (An ID card must be submitted.).

※ Note:

* Previous first-place winners of this speech contest are not eligible to participate.

* However, second and third place winners may apply.

* Winners of the UAE Korean Speech Contest may participate (excluding the 2025 first-place winner).

⑶ Prizes

∎ 1st Place: A trip to Korea to attend the Excellent Learner Training Program, A Sejong Institute course voucher (worth AED 200)

∎ 2nd Place: A Sejong Institute course voucher (worth 200 AED)

∎ 3rd Place: A Sejong Institute course voucher (worth 100 AED)

* A certificate will be provided for all the finalists.

* Prizes are subject to change without any notice.

⑷ Application (Preliminary Round)

∎ Period: May 4, 2026 (Mon) to May 31, 2026 (Sun)

※ Required Participant Documents

1. Certificate of King Sejong Institute (Copy) or evidence of enrollment

2. Copy of Your Emirates ID

3. Final Script in Korean (3~4 minutes, no more than 4 minutes/script form attached)

4. Voice Record File in Korean (No more than 2 minutes/ MP3 format only)

* The Voice Record file must include all of the following:

-A Self-Introduction

-Your Reason for Participation

-A Brief Introduction of Your Chosen Topic

(6) Announcement of Finalists

∎ The results of the preliminary round will be sent by email.

- Further directions for a final round will be sent to finalists of each contest by email.
