*Learning Hangul and basic Korean*

◾ Sejong Conversation 1A – Textbook: Sejong Korean Conversation 1 (Unit 1–7) / For those who have completed Sejong Korean 1A (certificate required) or achieved Level 1B or above on the online level test

*For beginners and elementary learners; practice everyday conversation and become familiar with Korean language and culture*

◾ Sejong Conversation 1A (Youth) - Textbook: Sejong Korean Conversation 1 (Units 1–7) / Summer semester youth class graduates or learners who have already learned the Hangul alphabet.

* For beginners and elementary learners; practice everyday conversation and become familiar with Korean language and culture*

◾ Sejong Korean 1B – Textbook: Sejong Korean 1B / For those who have completed Sejong Korean 1A (certificate required) or achieved Level 1B or above on the online King Sejong Institute level test

◾ Step 2: After receiving the confirmation email, follow the instructions to pay the textbook fee and collect the textbook.

*If you do not register during the first week of the semester, your registration will be automatically canceled.

Classes may be conducted online or offline depending on local circumstances.

III. Schedule

◾ Course Registration: August 14 (Fri) – August 27 (Thu), 2026

Registration may close early depending on the number of applicants.

Application results will be notified by email on August 28 (Fri), 2026.

◾ Textbook Fee Payment Period: August 31 (Mon) – September 5 (Sat), 2026

◾ Course Period: August 31 (Mon) – November 29 (Sun), 2026 / 13 weeks in total

The course end date is subject to change depending on UAE public holidays and the Korean Cultural Center’s closure schedule.

◾ Applicants must be 14 years or older. Korean nationals are not eligible to apply.

◾ 100% refund is available only during the first week after the course begins. No refunds will be provided afterward. The textbook must be returned in case of a refund.

◾ Course changes are not allowed after the registration period.

◾ Courses may be canceled if fewer than 5 students register for a class.
